2. Use the GreenHouse Blowdown Head as part of a stand alone unit using the RR99679 Blowdown Stand Alone Base. This lower profile base will accept either a standard micro titer plate or any one of the five vial racks. - Page 8 GreenHouse Blowdown Basic Upgrade kit. When heating reactions take care not to touch the base or head as these may have become hot during evaporation. Warning We recommend a maximum operating temperature of no more than 150˚C. In normal use the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator will not be used at temperatures much above 40˚C. The Stand Alone Base is used instead of the standard GreenHouse Base (the Blowdown Base Adaptor is not required).
- Page 14 GreenHouse Blowdown Parallel Evaporation System Preventing Over-pressurisation Warning The Blowdown Head Safety Pressure Relief Valve and Gas Inlet Safety Pressure Relief Valve are designed to vent at nominally 4 to 6psi. Therefore under normal and correct operation procedures neither valve should be venting.

Both the Silicone Rubber and Viton Gaskets have service temperatures well in excess of the normal maximum recommended operating temperature of the GreenHouse (ca 150˚C). In normal use the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator will not be used at temperatures much above 40˚C. Replacing the Gasket How long should the gasket last ? The gaskets are a consumable item and they will need replacing.
