6.2.1 Jumper: Selection of the supply voltage

With the counter function you can select between 24 V and 5 V supply voltage at
Pin 2 and Pin 12 of the female connector via the jumper ST3.
The jumper is on the right side of the housing. In order to use the jumper you have
to unscrew the right side of the housing.
Please observe: The housing may not be opened. It may be opened only by
persons who are authorized by ADDI-DATA.

IMPORTANT!

Please observe that this selection only concerns the 24 V or
5 V-supply of the encoder and that this has no connection with
the version of the module (MSX-E-1701 or MSX-E1701-24).
