Setting wireless modem configurations

In most cases the preset GPRS configuration settings will enable you to connect to your wireless
service provider's data services. In the event that you need to manually create a configuration to
connect to your ISP or dial-in server, you must configure Wireless modem Connection Preference
settings and Network Preferences settings in addition to configuring Connection settings to
define the communication protocols for the selected device. To use a dial-up connection, your
wireless service account must also include circuit switched data (CSD) services.
To create a Wireless Modem to Modem connection:
1. From the Connection Preferences screen, select Wireless Modem.
2. Tap Edit.
