Otherwise, the air flow for the unit's cooling system may be impeded or reduced.

  • Page 15 INSTALLATION PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION The instructions below have been prepared for a built-in type of refrigerator defined as: the appliance and panels are flush with the front and side of the cabinetry. The most common installation scenario is the refrigerator is mounted in its own box between two kitchen cabinets or decorative columns.
  • Page 16 INSTALLATION LOCATION OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRING The location of the electrical wiring must be within the range provided below. Do not use extension cables or cords or 2-pin adaptors, and do not remove the ground terminal of the grounding cable. CAUTION A qualified electrician must ensure that the poles of the socket are connected correctly.
  • Page 17 INSTALLATION LOCATION OF THE WATER SYSTEM • The water connected to the water mains must be potable. • The location of the water system must be within the range provided below. • The unit's water system must be connected to the main water system in the house. The user must be able to switch the water system on/off with a valve when necessary.

  • Page 35 INSTALLATION REMOVING THE FREEZER DOOR • Locate and remove the two screws near the front section of the support rails that connect to the freezer door. While supporting the freezer door, pull it forward while freeing it from the rear rail lock tabs to remove it.

  • Page 39 INSTALLATION • Use the hammer to fit the anchors (Item No. 8). • Fit the brackets (Item No. 7) into their places, using four screws for each. You must use both brackets to ensure safety of the product. • If you are not sure whether the existing connection parts are fastened to the wall as securely as they should be, you can use WARNING alternative anti-tip methods.
  • Page 40 INSTALLATION ALTERNATIVE ANTI-TIP METHOD • If the anti-tip brackets cannot be connected securely, you must use the alternative method below. • In this method, you can use wooden blocks to avoid the risk of the unit tipping over. They must be installed as illustrated in the figure below. •...
  • Page 41 INSTALLATION PREPARING THE WATER HOSE AND POWER PLUG • You will need a hose with a minimum length of 60" (1524mm) and a diameter of 1/4" (6.4mm) for water connections during installation. • A connector that has a thread with an external diameter of 1/4" (6.4mm) must be used to connect the hose end to the product.
  • Page 42 INSTALLATION CABINET INSTALLATION MOVING THE UNIT FROM THE WOODEN PALLET • Remove the brackets that connect the refrigerator to the wooden pallet. • With at least two people, recline the refrigerator slowly and pull back with the help of a dolly/hand truck, then slowly lower the refrigerator to the floor. Do not open doors, as the weight of the unit's doors can cause the appliance to tip over while in a reclined or free standing position.
  • Page 43 INSTALLATION PLACING THE REFRIGERATOR INTO THE CABINET • Route the water line through the channel of the refrigerator to the front of the unit. • Apply the below method to prevent the cable from getting jammed.
