Logon to the PXI‑CORE:
– Enter user name and password. Both: bosch (factory default)
Get or set an IPv4 address:
– Go to Settings > Connectivity > (XF51) eth1. Check if you have an IPv4 address
assigned from a DHCP server. If not, manually assign an IPv4 address clicking in the
plus (+) sign in IP addresses. Note that an IPv4 address is required to allow
communication to other BT products (Praesensa, Praesideo, B/G Series control
panels, ONVIF cameras).
Install your application(s):
– 1) Go to and click Settings > Apps.
– 2) Set the PXI-CORE edge controller in Service Mode by clicking the blue Operation
mode/Service mode button.
– 3) When the LED (H) color changes from green to blinking blue, click the Install from
file button.
– 4) Browse to the application files and click the Install button to finalize the
installation process. You can select multiple files at once.
– 5) Set the PXI-CORE back in Operation Mode by clicking the blue Operation mode/
Service mode button.
– 6) The LED bar (H) color changes from blinking blue to green.
