Problem analysis and solutions
There may be problems while using your Excel scooter. The fault diagnosis system below indicates what is going on by
means of a fault code. This fault code is expressed in a number of beep signals. This means that your scooter gives a
number of beeps, the lights flash at the same time and at the top of the display of the dashboard is a wrench symbol.
The number of beeps indicates what may be wrong with your scooter. If you experience problems with your Excel
scooter that you cannot find in the table below, we advise you to contact an authorised Excel Moblity dealer.

When flashing 1 and 2 times, you need to charge the batteries. For all other error messages, please consult your dealer.
Never attempt to repair yourself. Doing so will void the warranty.
Solution
Battery capacity is low; charge the product
Batteries are empty; charge the product
Battery voltage is too high; this can happen if the bat-
teries are overcharged or when descending a long
slope. Reduce your speed to minimise the power sup-
ply from resistance to the motor when descending.
Current limit timeout / controller overheated; turn the
product off, leave it off for a few minutes and then try
turning it on again. If this does not work, there may
be something wrong with the electric motor. Please
contact your authorised Excel dealer.
Parking brake defective; check that the handbrake
(lever at the front right of the handlebar) does not rub
or is stuck in any way.
Automatic stop; The product may fail because the
control levers were not in neutral when the product
was turned on, or the charger may still be plugged
in. Turn the product off again, remove the charger if
necessary or take care not to pull the control levers,
and turn it on again. If the same error code is still dis-
played, something else is wrong and you should con-
tact your authorised Excel dealer.
Speed potentiometer defective; contact your author-
ized Excel dealer.
Motor voltage error; contact your authorised Excel
dealer.
Other internal error; contact your authorised Excel
dealer.
