Warning
Never put your scooter in neutral while the scooter is on a slope. This prevents the risk of your scooter driving down
unexpectedly.
Warning
Before using the Excel Outback, make sure that the freewheel has been returned to the driving position.

The wheels

Front and rear wheels are attached to the Excel Outback. You should check it regularly
on wear.
5.7.1

Pneumatic tyres

Your scooter is equipped with four pneumatic tyres. You should check the tyre pressure regularly. You can do this using
a (digital) tyre pressure gauge. Excel Mobility uses a tyre pressure of 2.5 bar per tyre. More information about maintaining
the pneumatic tyres can be found in paragraph 7.1.1

Lumbar support
On the left side of the backrest, between the armrest and backrest, there is a lever (see Photo 27) for adjusting the
lumbar support. By moving this 'ratchet', alternately clockwise and counterclockwise, similar to a pumping action, a
reinforcement emerges in the lower part of the back support that provides extra support to the lower back. By continuing
to 'pump' the ratchet handle, it moves further and further forward and then returns to a neutral position. So you can
gradually determine the amount of lsupport needed for your lower back.
