SPECIFICATIONS
Clearing the
power-on
password
requires
removing all
Setup
attributes that
are
programmed in
the CMOS.
If the
password is
not known,
clear it by
performing the
following
steps:
1
Prepare the
computer
for
disassembly.
2 Remove the
keyboard.
3 Remove the
LED cover.
4 Disconnect
the RTC
battery
cable from
the system
board .
5 Remove the
battery from
the
computer
.
