Description of the device

Installing the cutting unit guard (installing the safety guard):
Unscrew the strap holding the safety cover. Replace the cover, attach the fastening band which must
then be tightened with the screws.
Drive shaft connection:
Connect the two parts of the tube in which the drive shaft is located until the locking pin 1 engages.
Tighten the fixing nut.
Changing the reel:
1. Check that the switch is in the off position and remove the plug from the socket.
2. Press the side latches of the reel cover, remove the inner cover from the reel, then remove it from the
inside and replace with a new one.
3. Push the reel back into the reel holder ensuring it is securely seated.
Installing the string reel
Remove the nut by turning it clockwise.
Remove the moulded plate washer, remove the spacer.
Lock the cutting attachment drive axis with a hex key. Screw the reel with the cutting string by rotating
it counter-clockwise, remembering to lock it with the hex key of the drive shaft 1.
