4. Tighten the fasteners on the baffle.
5. Rotate the blades, by hand, to verify that the deck
baffles do not interfere with their operation.

Installing the Left Wing Deck
Baffle
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wing deck baffle
1 Left baffle divider plate
8 Carriage bolt (5/16 x 7/8 inch)
8 Flange nut (5/16 inch)
Procedure
1. Remove the existing baffle from the left wing deck
(Figure 13).
Note: Retain the baffle and hardware for when you
remove this kit.

2. Align the wing deck baffle with the mounting holes in
the mower deck and secure with 6 carriage bolts (5/16
x 7/8 inch) and 6 nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in
14.

3. Install and secure the baffle divider plate to the baffle
and the mower deck with 2 carriage bolts (5/16 x 7/8
inch) and 2 flange nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in
15.
Note: Position the baffle divider plate as shown in
Figure 15.
