8. Tighten the fasteners on the right and left winglet
baffles.
9. Rotate the blades by hand to verify that the deck baffles
do not interfere with their operation.

Installing the Right Wing Deck
Baffle
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wing deck baffle
2
Baffle divider plate
9 Carriage bolt (5/16 x 7/8 inch)
9 Flange nut (5/16 inch)
Procedure
1. Remove the existing baffles from the right wing deck
(Figure 9).
Note: Retain the baffles and hardware for when you
remove this kit.

2. Align the center baffle with the mounting holes in the
mower deck and secure with 5 carriage bolts (5/16 x
7/8 inch) and 5 nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in

3. Install and secure the 2 baffle divider plates to the
baffle and the mower deck with 4 carriage bolts (5/16
x 7/8 inch) and 4 flange nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in
Figure 11.
Note: Only use 1 hole in the divider plate. Use the
holes in the divider plate and baffle shown in
12).
