11. Torque the screw at the front of each outer skid to 9 to
11 N∙m (80 to 100 in-lb).
CAUTION
The blades are sharp and could cause injury to you
or bystanders.
Rotate the blades away from the installation area to
avoid contact.

Installing the Center Deck
Baffles
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Center baffle
1 Right winglet baffle
1 Left winglet baffle
2 Baffle divider plate
16 Carriage bolt (5/16 x 7/8 inch)
16
Flange nut (5/16 inch)
1 Carriage bolt (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches)
1 Flange nut (3/8 inch)
Procedure
Note: You will need at least 1 additional person to help you
install the kit.
1. Remove the 2 existing deflectors from the center deck
(Figure 3).
Note: Retain the deflectors and hardware for when
you remove this kit.

mower deck and secure with 7 carriage bolts (5/16 x
