Invacare® Perfecto ₂™V Oxygen Concentrator
Periodically clean the concentrator's c abinet a s f ollows:
Use a damp cloth, or s ponge, with a mild detergent s uch as 1.
Dawn dish washing soap to gently clean the exterior case.
Allow the concentrator t o air d ry, o r u se a dry towel, b efore 2.
operating the concentrator.

7.3 Cleaning the Cabinet Filter

CAUTION!
Risk of D amage
To avoid damage to the internal c omponents of t he unit:
– DO NOT operate the concentrator without t he filter
installed or w ith a dirty filter.
There is one cabinet f ilter located on the back of t he cabinet.

Remove the filter a nd clean as n eeded. 1.
Environmental conditions t hat m ay r equire more
frequent i nspection and cleaning of t he filter include, b ut
are not l imited to: high dust, a ir pollutants, e tc.
Clean the cabinet f ilter w ith a vacuum cleaner o r w ash with 2.
a mild liquid dish detergent ( such as D awn) a nd water. Rinse
thoroughly.
Thoroughly dry the filter and inspect f or fraying, c rumbling, t ears 3.
and holes. Replace filter if a ny damage is f ound.
Reinstall t he cabinet f ilter. 4.
7.4 Humidifier C leaning and Thermic
Disinfection
Clean and disinfect t he oxygen humidifier d aily to reduce
limestone deposits a nd eliminate possible bacterial
contamination. Follow the instructions p rovided by the
manufacturer. If n one are provided, f ollow these steps:
Wash humidifier in soapy water and rinse with a solution of t en 1.
parts w ater a nd one part v inegar.
Rinse thoroughly with hot w ater. 2.
Air d ry thoroughly. 3.
To limit b acterial g rowth, a ir dry the humidifier thoroughly
after cleaning when not i n use. Refer to Set U p for use.
