Appendix A — Installation Checklist
After completing the installation instructions in this manual, use
this checklist to ensure you've finished the major steps so that
you're up and running quickly (check the boxes when they're
finished, "X" the boxes that don't apply):
For Flush Mount Installations
console hole is cut out (flush mount template included)
there are no openings for water to find its way between the
display and mounting surface
area behind display is clear and doesn't obstruct air flow
mounting surface is flat so as not to stress display enclosure
For Yoke Mount Installations
all flush mount possibilities have been exhausted
use backing plates if the mounting surface isn't rigid
vBox Installation
mounted in a dry area
within 4 feet of the display
four foot interconnect cable is secured at both the vBox and
the display
held down securely using integral mounting plate
accessible for future connections
minimal use of phono/RCA connectors
the 15-pin VGA connector and BNC connector on the
display have no connections to them and are capped
