VBox Connections

Connecting the vBox to the Display
Connect the vBox to the display using the supplied four-foot
cable. Note that this cable must be used as is. It can be
neither shortened nor lengthened.

The 25-pin D connector is screwed into the vBox The 18-pin
circular connector plugs into the vBox connector on the rear
panel of the display and is secured by twisting the locking
collar to engage it.

Connecting the vBox to Data Sources
Run VGA cables (see diagram on page 32) from the data
sources such as computers or black box marine electronics to
the vBox. Note that the vBox has female VGA connectors on
it.
Plug the primary data source into the vBox connector
marked DATA. Plug the auxiliary data source into the
connector marked AUX DATA.
Make sure that all connectors are secured and screwed down
and that the general guidelines outlined on page 23 have
been observed.
Page 30 — Optional vBox
This cable is not compatible with any
product other than the 1200 series
display and the vBox. Do not attempt to
use it with any other product.
You must not connect anything to the
15-pin video (VGA) connector on the
display if you are using a vBox.
