Yoke Mount
While not recommended, there are situations where yoke
mounting is the only choice. For these situations, call
Northstar Sales (see page 43) and request a complimentary
Yoke Mounting Kit (P/N 601YOKE–IK).
WARNING:
!
When yoke mounting, leave ample room — at least 2
inches — all around the sides and above the display to avoid
crowding. Also allow a clearance of at least 2½ inches behind
the display for cables and connectors. Before drilling any
holes, tilt the unit to the desired angle to ensure proper clear-
ance for cables and operation of the unit.
Connecting the Power Cable
A 10-foot power cable has been supplied with your display. Note
that both the positive and negative sides of the supply are
fused with 7 Amp fuses. Should you need to replace these fuses,
be sure to use only 7 Amp fuses.
The power cable's color code, which conforms to the American
Boating and Yachting Counsel's specifications for DC wiring stan-
dards, is as follows:
Signal
DC Positive
DC Negative
DC Grounding
