Donning
Make sure the shoulder and waist
belt straps are fully opened. Place
the breathing hoses on the back
of the device. Reach through the
shoulder straps with both arms.
Adjust the shoulder straps again,
loosen them a little if necessary.
Most of the weight should rest on
your hips.
Perform the pre-operation check –
see also backpage.

Lift up the device over your head
and place it on your back. Tighten
the shoulder straps until the
waistbelt pad is aligned with your
hips.
Optional: Close the buckle of the
chest straps. Tighten the straps.
Fully open the cylinder valve.
Remove the sealing cap from the
mouth piece, breathe in and hold
your breath. Push the mouth piece
into the connection piece of the
mask until it engages audibly.
Breath normally.
Close the waistbelt buckle. Pull the
straps forward until the apparatus is
secured on your hips.
Spread the harness of the
facemask and place it over your
head.
Leak test:
Tightly squeeze the inhalation hose
and breathe in until a vacuum is
produced. Hold your breath for
about ten seconds. The vacuum
should be maintained. If not, tighten
the straps of the mask.
Pull the adjusting straps forward
until the apparatus is secure with
the buckle in center of the body.
Tighten the straps from bottom to
top.
Ready for use.
