119781-B Rev. 01
The sections that follow describe known router software
anomalies and, where applicable, suggest work arounds. Bay
Networks plans to resolve these known anomalies in a future
release.
1.
Nautica Watch displays the incorrect elapsed time for voice
calls.
2.
Under unusual circumstances, Nautica Watch may show the
red collision LED as being active, when in fact there are no
collisions.
3.
If an incoming voice call does not present a caller ID,
Nautica Watch may erroneously display the number of the
previous call.
4.
Point to Point Tunnelling Protocol (PPTP) over V.120 is not
supported in this release.
5.
If a Multiple Subscribe Number (MSN) is defined on a voice
(POTS) port, then that MSN is now presented for outgoing
calls. This helps to correctly identify the call, so that
facsimile replies, for example, are returned to the correct
MSN and therefore the correct device. It has been reported
that in the U.K. on ISDN2 lines from British Telecom, the
presentation of the MSN can result in no dialtone being
provided by the exchange. The user can still dial calls, but the
absence of a dialtone can be confusing, and may prohibit
facsimile machines and modems from working.
