BayStream 7.3 Documentation Change Notice

LAPF

LAPF will not be initialized on either the master or slave node until the active link
has been selected. Either side may begin LAPF initialization procedures once the
active link has been determined.

Closed User Group (CUG)

Closed User Group information is used internally within the BayStream network.
BayStream does not support transfer or mapping of CUG information across a
Resilient NNI interface.

Libraries and External Interface

No libraries or external interfaces are required to configure or manage a Resilient
NNI.

Configuring the Resilient NNI

You can use Site Manager or the Technician Interface to configure Resilient NNI.

Using Site Manager

Configuring a Resilient NNI is a two-stage process:
Configure the HSSI Ports as Resilient NNI Links.
