Creating a Shortcut in Windows 95 The following example shows you how to create a sample shortcut for the Site Manager executable software. (You need to do this only if you chose to manually create a Windows program group.) 1. Choose File > New > Shortcut.
3. Click on Next. The Select a Title for the Program Window opens. 4. In the box, type: PC Site Manager 5. Click on Finish. Windows 95 creates the Site Manager shortcut in Windows Explorer. Reviewing RS/6000 System Requirements To run BayStream Site Manager Version 7.2, your RS/6000 must meet the following hardware and software requirements: • IBM RISC System/6000 • IBM AIX Version 3.2.4 or later • AIX Motif 1.1.4 or later (Refer to 20.)
Changing Motif Versions NetView/6000 Versions 2.1 and earlier require Motif Version 1.1.4. However, X11 Release 5 typically ships with Motif Version 1.2 as the default. Therefore, if you are using NetView/6000 Version 1.2, and you are running a later version of Motif (such as 1.2), then you must use the instructions that follow to change the currently installed version of Motif to Motif Version 1.1.4.
SNMP or SNMP-trap files are missing, contact your system administrator. Loading the Site Manager Software on an RS/6000 To load the Site Manager software on the RS/6000: 1. Insert the Bay Networks Site Manager CD into your CD-ROM drive. 2. If you have not created a CD-ROM mountpoint, log in as root and create a root-level directory.
