Design Studio Usage Notes
When message playback is paused on IP Phones 1120E and 1140E, the
•
Rewind and Fwd soft keys now work.
If you stop a page from an IP Phone 1120E or 1140E and then attempt
•
to return to the menu, the phone interface no longer becomes
unresponsive.
The Directory interface page now tracks directory sources by name
•
rather than number. This eliminates issues related to the directory
source numbers.
Zones are now listed in alphanumeric order.
•
After Smart Agent is installed, opening a web page that contains a
•
Select element with many nested Option elements no longer causes
Internet Explorer to close with a message about IEPNLink.dll.
After you install additional licenses on the Application Gateway,
•
previously unlicensed phones are now automatically granted a
license.
Upgrading the Application Gateway no longer clears Guest Services
•
settings.
In the log entry generated when you choose a time zone, the month
•
portion of the date no longer contains garbage characters.
After changing the Application Gateway IP address from the serial
•
console, you no longer need to Synchronize from the Administration
> Maintenance page before you can access the License Monitor.
If you install a software release that was created after your software
•
warranty or SRS support expired, your licenses will now correctly
show as expired on the License page.
The Application Gateway and Design Studio tool can be used to transform
certain HTML or XML-based business application for use on Nortel IP
telephones. Applications include corporate directories, employee
time-clocks, ERP applications, inventory reports, Oracle back-office
databases, and more. Application Menus are used to build an organized
view of multiple business applications available to a user's IP telephones.
The Design Studio application creates transformation instructions that
convert large-screen business applications into a format appropriate for
Nortel IP phones.
