Upgrading from SL-1 XN (QCA55 cabinet) to Option 71 8-11
connector on the faceplate of the QPC584 MSI circuit pack
located in slot 8 of the QSD61 CPU/MEM shelf.
28 Connect a NT8D85AC (QCAD124) cable from connector J1 on the
faceplate of the QPC581 CMA pack located on CPU 0 to connector J1
on the faceplate of the QPC581 CMA pack located on CPU 1.
Connect a NT8D80AC (QCAD123) cable from connector J2 on
the faceplate of the QPC581 CMA pack located on CPU 0 to
connector J2 on the faceplate of the QPC581 CMA pack located
on CPU 1.
29 Set the CPU 0 breaker on the QBL21 power distribution box to ON.
Ensure that all ENB/DIS switches on the faceplates of circuit
packs on shelves of both CPUs are set to ENB.
Set the MAINT/NORM switches on both CPUs to NORM.
30 Move the SDI pack associated with the on-site TTY to its original
assigned slot and enable it with the maintenance set.
31 Using overlay program 35, test CPU 0 and switch CPU to ensure that
both CPUs are operating correctly.
32 Using overlay program 35, ensure that all CMA, SBE and MEM
circuit packs on both CPUs are enabled.
33 Set the MEM 0 and MEM 1 switches on the QBL21 power distribution
box to OFF.
Disconnect and remove all cables from connectors on faceplates
of circuit packs on the QSP40 MEM shelf.
Remove circuit packs and dummy faceplates from the QSP40
MEM shelf.
Disconnect and insulate the four leads from the cabinet power
wiring harness to the lugs on the backplane of the QSP40 MEM
shelf.
Disconnect the power monitor connector from the cabinet power
wiring harness to connector D of the QSP40 MEM shelf.
