The system copies the router files to the destination folder on your PC.

Installing Router Files on the Versalar 15000

To transfer the router files from your PC or UNIX workstation to the Versalar
15000, you must use TFTP or FTP. If you have not enabled FTP or TFTP on the
router, see Configuring Management and Differentiated Services for the Versalar
Switch Router 15000.
Note: For detailed information about the commands used in the following steps,
see Managing and Troubleshooting the Versalar Switch Router 15000.
If you have unsaved changes in your working configuration file, use the

save config
For example, enter the following command:
save config 9:config
If your working configuration file is named config, use the

to copy and rename the file.
For example, to make a copy of the file config and name it oldconf.cfg, enter:
cp config oldconf.cfg
Use FTP or TFTP in binary mode to back up the files from the Versalar

15000 flash memory card to your management workstation.
Caution: Make sure not to copy these files to the same directory where you
loaded the files from the CD.

card: atpdiag.rom, bcc.help, bflash_801.exe, capdiag.rom, config,
ifpdiag.rom, init.cfg, sspboot.ppc, sspdiag.exe, and v15k.exe.

Click on the folder to which you want to copy the router files.
Choose Edit > Paste.
