    PURPOSE THE UNIT SHOULD NOT BE OPERATED BY CHILDREN OR PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR SENSORY CAPACITIES, OR THOSE WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE TRAINING. THE UNIT MUST BE INSTALLED AND CONNECTED ONLY BY PROPERLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL AFTER THE APPROPRIATE BRIEFING. THE CHOICE OF UNIT INSTALLATION LOCATION MUST PREVENT UNAUTHORISED ACCESS BY UNATTENDED CHILDREN.

    TECHNICAL DATA The fan is designed for exhaust ventilation of rooms with air temperature from -25 °C to +120 °C. The unit is rated as a Class I electrical appliance. The unit design is constantly being improved. thus some models may be different from those described in this manual. Ingress protection rating of the motor against access to hazardous parts and water ingress is IPX4.

    DESIGN AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE The fan casing is made of an aluminium frame fastened with aluminium corners and removable heat- and sound-insulated double-layer panels made of aluzinc. Thanks to its corrosion-resistant aluzinc casing and heat-insulation material, the fan is suitable for outdoor installation. The VSK fan is equipped with an asynchronous motor with an external rotor and a centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades.

    MOUNTING AND SET-UP BEFORE MOUNTING MAKE SURE THE CASING DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS (E.G. FOIL, PAPER). WHILE INSTALLING THE UNIT ENSURE CONVENIENT ACCESS FOR SUBSEQUENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR. Before installing the fan, make sure that there is no visible damage to the impeller and check the integrity of the insulation of the power supply wires.

    CONNECTION TO POWER MAINS DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY PRIOR TO ANY OPERATIONS WITH THE UNIT. CONNECTION OF THE UNIT TO POWER MAINS IS ALLOWED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN WITH A WORK PERMIT FOR THE ELECTRIC UNITS UP TO 1000 V AFTER CAREFUL READING OF THE PRESENT USER’S MANUAL.

    COMMISSIONING THE ORGANISATION RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMMISSIONING SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER MOTOR PHASING AND STARTING PATTERN SELECTION.
