Laundry
:
warning
Risk of explosion and fire!
Remove lighters and matches from the
pockets of the textiles.
Caution!
The dryer drum and fabrics can be
damaged.
Remove all objects from the pockets of the
textiles and note the following:
Tie fabric belts, apron strings, etc.
■
together or use a laundry bag.
Close zips, hooks, eyes and buttons.
■
Button large items of laundry such as
covers.
Remove metal parts, such as paper
■
clips, from the textiles. For an even
drying result, sort the laundry
■
according to the type of fabric and
drying program.
Dry very small items
■
e.g. baby stockings, always together
with large items of laundry,
e.g. towels.
Knitted textiles such as T-shirts and
■
tricots often shrink when they dry for
the first time. Use a gentle program.
Do not overdry easy-care laundry. This
■
leads to increased creasing in the
laundry.
Use a time program for individual
■
items of laundry.
Some detergents and care products
■
Eg laundry starch or fabric softener
contain particles that can be deposited
on the moisture sensor. This can
impair the function of the sensor and
thus the drying result.
Hints
- Use the detergent and care agent when
washing the laundry to be dried
according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
- Clean the moisture sensor regularly

b Do not tumble dry
A notice:
Do not load laundry from the
washing machine directly into the dryer.
Sort the spun laundry before placing it in
the dryer drum.
If you dry thin, multi-layered or thick-
layered textiles together, they will dry
differently. You should therefore only dry
laundry of the same type of fabric and
structure together in order to achieve an
even drying result. If the laundry is still too
damp for you afterwards, you can select a
timed program for post-drying.
