Follow these steps to replace the external fan:

Disconnect all power to the unit by removing the plug from the front

Remove the 4 torx 20 screws
that holds the fan assembly
3
Disconnect the 4-way multi plug from the fan assembly
4
Reconnect the multi plug to the new fan assembly
5
Mount the new fan with the 4 torx 20 screws
6
Connect the power
