Installation conditions

When installing the Power Modules carefully observe the conditions listed below in order to
guarantee reliable, continuous and disturbance-free operation.
● The Power Module is designed for installation in a control cabinet.
● It provides protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects ≥ 12.5 mm.
● It does not provide any protection against the ingress of dust or liquids.
● For EMC-compliant installation, please observe Section Connecting (Page 29).
To ensure the safe operation of the equipment, it must be installed and commissioned by
qualified personnel in full compliance with the warnings laid down in this manual.
Take particular note of the general and regional installation and safety regulations
regarding work on dangerous voltage installation (e.g. EN 61800-5-1) as well as the
relevant regulations regarding the correct use of tools and personal protective equipment
(PPE).
