DHCP Over VPN

Your network administrator may ask you to enable DHCP over VPN on your TELE3 TZ or TELE3
TZX. Obtaining your IP address dynamically from a DHCP server on the corporate network
allows your administrator to configure groups of telecommuters on the same subnet. The
network administrator should give you the following information:
Remote Gateway Settings
Relay IP address

To configure your SonicWALL TELE3 TZ or TELE3 TZX as a Remote Gateway, use the
following steps:
1. Log into the Management interface, click DHCP, and then DHCP over VPN.
2. Select Remote Gateway from the DHCP Relay Mode menu.

3.Select the VPN Security Association to be used for the VPN tunnel from the Obtain using
DHCP through this SA menu. This is the Security Association created when you configured
your VPN tunnel to the corporate network.
4.Enter the Relay IP Address value. The Relay IP address is an IP address from the pool
of specific IP addresses on the Central Gateway. The SonicWALL can also be managed
through the Relay IP address.
