SPEEDOMETER AND INDICATOR
LIGHTS
Speedometer 1
The speedometer shows approximate
vehicle speed.
Odometer 2
The odometer shows the total dis-
tance that the vehicle has been rid-
den.
Trip Meter 3
The trip meter is a resettable odome-
ter. It can be used to show the dis-
tance traveled on short trips or
between fuel stops. Turning the knob
4 counterclockwise will reset the trip
meter to zero.
Reverse Indicator 5
A red light will come on when the
transmission is in reverse gear.
Neutral Indicator 6
A green light will come on when the
transmission is in neutral. The light
will go out when you shift into any
gear other than neutral.
High Beam Indicator 7 (Sweden)
A blue light will come on when the
headlight beam is turned on.
Oil temperature Indicator 8
A red light will come on when:
The engine oil gets too hot while
operating.
The electric starter is pushed for
starting the engine. This is for
checking light bulb.
CAUTION
Operating the ATV while the oil
temperature indicator is lit can
damage your ATV.
Continued operation of the ATV
with high engine oil temperature
may result in engine damage or
premature wear.
If the oil temperature indicator
comes on, stop the engine and
allow it to cool before restarting.
Refer to the note below.
NOTE:
High engine speed, low vehicle
speeds,
increase engine oil temperature.
Decrease engine speed, reduce
load and select an appropriate
transmission gear to lower the
temperature.
Debris or mud in front of the
engine or packed between the
engine fins can reduce cooling
ability. Remove any debris or mud
preventing any debris or mud pre-
venting air flow to the engine.
