    3. Safety standards SOCT Copernicus + system can be connected only to power supply socket equipped with properly connected grounding pin. The SOCT Copernicus+ system complies with all requirements of the directive 93/42/EEC (MDD - Medical Devices Directive) The SOCT Copernicus+ is Type B applied parts, class I protection against electric shock. Usually SOCT Copernicus+ is a part of larger Medical System, which consists of many other medical and non- medical devices.

    4. Maintenance and cleaning Warning! All maintenance activities can only be made when device is turned off and unplugged from power supply socket b) No user serviceable parts inside device. Any covers can be removed only by authorized service staff. During the whole period of use, SOCT Copernicus+ does not need any special maintenance procedures.

    7. Unpacking and Installation NOTICE!: Every transportation box is equipped with the shockwatches. If any shockwatch is broken (red indicator) please contact Optopol Technology Sp. z o.o. and lodge the complaint to the carrier. SOCT Copernicus+ set consists of following components: 1.

    Now one can remove the cover by lifting it up gently. The SOCT’s Copernicus+ four legs are locked at two metal rails by clamps. There are only two removable clamps at a side. First remove screws from the clamps and then remove metal holders. This operation is shown in a figure below. Now shift SOCT Copernicus+ to the left and then lift it up.

    Device connection diagram The SOCT is connected to the PC using USB 2.0 and Video/Synchro cables. The SOCT must be directly plugged into the mains. Connect the PC, printer and monitor into the multiple portable socket-outlets, which is directly connected to the Separating Transformer. The transformer reduces power emission loss from the PC.

    NI Frame Grabber card and WinFast card installation Open the left side cover of a PC. Plug in the NI Frame Grabber into the PCI slot #2 then secure the card using a screw. Plug the WinFast Video card into the PCI slot #1 then secure the card using a screw. Close the PC cover.

If diode have connectors between optic fibre outgoing from diode and coupler, the power loss on the connectors is too high.
