Memory Viewer function

The Memory Viewer function makes it possible to display the still images stored in the USB memory as projected
images.

Images that can be played back with the Memory Viewer function

The Memory Viewer function of this projector supports the following files.
Extension
jpg/jpeg
bmp
Picture
png
gif
tif / tiff
Note
f File size that can be played back is 2 GB at the maximum.
f The total number of folders/files that can be recognized on the projector is 500 at the maximum. In addition, the folders/files in the format
other than those listed above cannot be displayed.
f Files protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) cannot be played back.
f It maybe impossible to play even if the file is recorded in the supported format.

Cautions on using USB Memory

Please observe the following.
f Do not put USB memory or its cap within close reach of children. Swallowing them may cause suffocation.
f If the smoke or questionable odor rise, remove the USB memory from the projector, and then contact your
dealer.
f Do not put water, chemical or oil to the USB memory. It may cause short out or fire.
f Do not put foreign objects or put metal objects to the USB terminal. It may cause data loss or data corruption.
f Do not remove the USB memory from the computer or the projector while the USB memory is reading out the
data. It may cause data loss or data corruption.
f Do not store the USB memory where high temperature, humid or dusty place or magnetized items are around.
Note
f It is compatible with the USB memory sold in the market.
f It cannot be used the other format other than the formatted with FAT16 and FAT32.
Attaching the USB memory
1)
Attach the USB memory firmly into the <USB A (VIEWER/WIRELESS)> terminal.
Attention
f Pay attention to the terminal direction to avoid damaging the terminal when attaching the USB memory.
f Attach the USB memory directly into the <USB A (VIEWER/WIRELESS)> terminal of the projector. Do not use a USB extension cable or
USB hub.
Removing the USB memory
1)
Make sure that the indicator on the USB memory is not blinking, and remove it.
Attention
f Please note following points when removing the USB memory.
- When the indicator of the USB memory attached to the projector is blinking, it indicates that the projector is reading the USB memory.
Do not remove the USB memory from the projector while the indicator is blinking.
- When using a USB memory that does not have a monitor function such as an indicator, you cannot check the access status to the USB
memory. In this case, remove it from the projector after closing the memory viewer function or turning off the projector.
- Do not attach and detach the USB memory in a short time. Wait at least 5 seconds after attaching and then remove the USB memory. If
you want to reattach it, wait at least 5 seconds after removal. It takes about 5 seconds for the projector to recognize the USB memory.
