Procedures Used in This Guide

In this guide, only one example is described for each procedure.
Although some procedures have alternatives in settings or equipment
you use, they are not mentioned in this guide.
For example, you can load paper into the paper drawer, optional paper
deck, or stack bypass, but only one way is described in this manual.
Please note that the procedure may differ from the example described
in this guide, depending on the equipment you select. For more
information on the other procedures, see the Reference Guide,
Copying and Mail Box Guide, and Coating Guide.
IMPORTANT
Make sure to place the original scanned into the machine as an image form
onto the platen glass. The original cannot be scanned from the optional
feeder.
