Detailed explanation
MR Configurator2
This is a software that has the following functions: servo amplifier adjustment, monitor display, diagnosis, reading/writing of servo
parameters, and test operation. These functions are performed using a personal computer. Parameter settings and test operation can
also be performed via a controller.
Settings, such as a stroke limit, absolute position detection system, communication error detection time, are made with this software.

Connection via a controller

Connection via a controller is available on servo amplifiers with firmware version C4 or later being used with MR
Configurator2 with software version 1.134Q or later.
The Ethernet over EtherCAT (EoE) function of EtherCAT network allows the engineering tool to be connected with the servo
amplifier via a controller.
A controller that supports the EoE function (EtherCAT master) is required.
For the usage of the EoE function, refer to the manual for the controller being used.

Description
EtherCAT protocol
This protocol supports EtherCAT.
EtherCAT
This setting specifies the control mode and network communication.

File access over
This protocol enables a firmware upload to devices via a network. For
EtherCAT (FoE)
details, contact your local sales office.
Ethernet over
This protocol transmits the Ethernet communication data via the
EtherCAT (EoE)
EtherCAT segment.
ESI
This is a setting file on which the information specific to each slave
station (vendor information, product information, profiles, objects, and
other information) is written. Store the ESI file on the controller to use
it.
Distributed clock
This function enables DC mode.
