ENGINE
The
815,00
K4
generator
is
equipped
with the
Honda
engine
G200 E,
I
modified
G200.
Following
describes
the
information
peculiar
to
this
modified
version.
Refer
to
G150/G200
Shop
Manual
for
limits,
tolerance and other important
disassembly,
inspection
and
reassembly
information.
THR.OTTLE ADJUSTMENT
1. Set
the
adjusting
knob
in
the
top
center position.
2.
Start the
engine.
3. Turn the governor spring adjusting
screw
either
in or
out
as necessary
until
the rated
voltage
is
reached.
4" Connect
a
L.25
KW load
to
the
generator. This can
be
made
by
connecting
two
600W heaters
in
parallel.
5. Again turn the
governor spring adjusting
screw
in
or
out
until the
engine runs
at
3,200
rpm.
6.
Measure
the
voltage and generator
rotor
speed
while
the
engine is
hot (after
running
for 30-40
minutes).
Generator
rotor
speed:
50 Hz: 3,000
rprn
60
Hz:
3,600
rpm
