INSPECTION
OF DIODE RECTIFTER (D1)
1.
Rernove
the two 5 mm
screws
and
take
off
the
end
cover.

Disconnect
the brown lead of
the rectifier. With the
tester
at R
x
tr,
check
for
continuity
between
the lead
and
heat
sink"

Remove
the
generator rear housing.

Back
off
the two 5
mm
screws
and replace
the diode
rectifier"

REPLACEMHNT
OF
R.OTOR AIYD STATOR
Disassembly
1.
Remove
the control
box
and generator. (See page
2A;)
2.
Remove
the two
5
mm
screws,
disconnect each
wire
lead
and take
out the
brush holder"
NOTE: Avoid
damaging
the
brushes
when removing
and
installing
the
brush
holder.

Disconnect the wire
leads
running
to
the voltage
conversion
terminals
and diode
rectifier"
4.
Remove
the two
4
mm
screws
and
two
3
mm
screws;
take
off
the
8-P coupler
cover.
5. Loosen three
4
mffl
screws
and remove
the fan
cover.
5.
Remove
four
5
mm bolts and
separate
the
rear
housing
-
by lightly
tapping around
it
with J soft
harnmer"
