Annotation:
This operation bulletin contains information regarding the need for check and ad-
justment of muffler and exhaust pipe position, if during repair or maintenance exhaust
system of the BELARUS-82.3 tractor was disassembled/ assembled. Procedure for check
and adjustment of muffler and exhaust pipe position is also presented.
Content of changes:
In paragraph "CONTENTS" after the line "6.14 Possible engine failures and in-
structions for troubleshooting", line "6.15 Check and adjustment of correct position of
exhaust system branch pipe" shall be added.
In paragraph "6. POSSIBLE MALFUNCTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR
TROUBLESHOOTING", subsection "6.15 Check and adjustment of correct position of
exhaust system branch pipe" shall be added:
6.15 Check and adjustment of correct position of exhaust system branch pipe
After carrying out work on the tractor that require disassembling of the exhaust
system elements, it is necessary to check the size of metal hose 4 (Figure 6.15.1) of
branch pipe 2.
It is necessary to make sure that the size of 250±10 mm of metal hose 4 and the
straightness of the metal hose are provided. 250 mm is an arithmetic mean value from
maximally stretched to fully compressed metal hose.
If these conditions are not met, it is required to adjust the spatial position of ex-
haust pipe 3.
