• You may select or cancel auxiliary functions suitable for the
current programme after the washing has started. If the
NOTE
wash cycle has reached a point where no auxiliary function
can be selected, an audio warning will be given.
9.4.1 Auxiliary functions
• Prewash
A Prewash is only worthwhile for heavily soiled laundry. Not using the
Prewash will save energy, water, detergent and time.
• Extra Rinse
This function enables the product to make another rinsing in addition to
the one already made after the main wash. Thus, the risk for sensitive
skins (babies, allergic skins, etc.) to be effected by the minimal detergent
remnants on the laundry can be reduced.
• Steam
This function helps reduc ing the wrinkles on your cotton, synthetic and
mixed laundry, shortening the ironing times, and removing the stains by
softeningthem.
*Your laundry may be hotter at the end of the washing cycle when the
steam function is applied at the end of the programme. This is an expected
condition within the operating conditions of the programme.
• When you activate the steam function, do not use liquid detergent
if the product does not have a liquid detergent cup or liquid dosing

function. Otherwise, stains might remain on the clothes.

a) Select the desired auxiliary functions before starting the programme.
b) Light of the selected auxiliary function turns on.
