Basic Operations
The following shows the basic operations of the Contacts.
To Register a New Entry in the Contacts
To
1 Start the Contact function
2 Select Phone or USIM
Description
Sets the following items for contact categories:
Category Name: Registers and edits the contact category
names (e.g. Category01 renamed as Family, etc.). A maximum of
20 entries (00-19) for the phone contacts, and 10 entries (00-09)
or less for the USIM contacts can be registered.
Call/Msg/Video Ringtune: Selects the ringtune activated when
a voice call, a message or a video call is received from the
callers registered in the category.
Call/Msg/Video Indicator: Selects the indicator pattern activated
when a voice call, a message or a video call is received from the
callers registered in the category.
Note : The settings cannot be changed for Category 00.
Deletes all contacts data entered in the e808 memory.
Displays the Service Dial Numbers (SDN) saved in the USIM
card as a list. Select the SDN and press the Start key to make a
call, or the SK1 (Video) key to make a video call.
Note : The SDN list cannot be edited.
Do this
Press the SK2 (Contact) key, or press the MENU key and
select User Data and Contacts.
Select Add to Contacts.
Select the contacts from Phone Contacts List or USIM
Contacts List.
