6-5. Diode test
1) Plug the BLACK lead into the COM socket and the RED one into the IMPUT socket (Note: the polarity of the red lead is positive „+").
2) Set the range switch to lub .
3) Press the SELECT button to select the mode and symbol „ „ will display as an indicator.
4) Connect the red test lead to the anode of the test diode and the black test lead to the cathode.
5) The meter will show the approximate conduction voltage of the diode. If the connections are reversed, OL will display.
6-6 NCV test
1. Set the rotary switch to NCV, LCD display EF.
2. Close the front end of the clamp to the socket to be measured.
3. When the NCV detects AC voltage between 90 and 10 volts, an audible signal and light alarms will be activated. Distinguish be-
tween live and neutral wire: No sound or alarm signal means neutral wire,
4. An audible signal and a light indicate that a live wire is detected.
Note: Do not apply voltage in NCV mode.
Sound and alarm may occur when a strong electric field occurs in the surrounding environment. It is possible to generate an error
alarm. In NVC, press the backlight button and the NCV LED indicator lights up, which is normal.
Warning: Be careful when detecting high voltage. NCV range: 90-1000v.
6-7. Flashlight use
1. Press the HOLD button for more than 2 seconds and the flashlight on the front of the meter will be switched on.
3. Press the HOLD button again for more than 2 seconds, the flashlight will switch off.
4. Using a flashlight means higher energy consumption, it is recommended not to use it for a long time.

7. AUTO POWER OFF

If the meter is not used for about 15 minutes, it will power off automatically. To turn it on again, simply turn the range switch or press
the button. If you press the SEL button, the Auto Power Off function will be disabled automatically.

8. BATTERY REPLACEMENT

If the „ „ appears on the display, the battery should be replaced. Remove the screws and open the rear casing, replace
used battery (size AAA, 1.5 V x 3 or equivalent).
