Description

Line reactors limit low-frequency line harmonics and reduce the load on the semiconductors
in the Basic Line Modules. A line reactor is not required where the effective supply
impedance equals uk > 3 %.

Safety information

Caution
The 100 mm clearances above and to the side of the components must be observed.
Note
The connection lines to the Line Module must be kept as short as possible (max. 5 m).
Caution
Using line reactors not approved by SIEMENS for SINAMICS:
- Can damage/destroy Line Modules.
- Line harmonics that may interfere with or damage other loads connected to the same line
supply.
Caution
The surface temperature of the line reactors may exceed 80 °C.
