2-2 Front Connector and Pin Definitions
1. - 2. Power Connectors
The 4-pin connectors are designated JP10
and JP13. These connectors provide power to
the backplane. See the table on the right for
pin definitions.
3. - 8. SATA Connectors
The SATA connectors are used to connect the
SATA cables. The six connectors are desig-
nated #0, #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5.
9. - 14. SAS Connectors
The SAS connectors are used to connect the
hard drives. The six connectors are designated
SAS#0, SAS#1, SAS#2, SAS#3, SAS#4 and
SAS#5. Each connector is compatible with
SATA and SAS drives.
15. Temperature Sensor Header
The temperature sensor header is designated
J13.
