6) INSTALLATION

6.1) Operations before installation

Unpack the burner and verify that there are no damages.
If you have doubt do not use the burner and ask explanations
to the supplier giving him the code No, which is on the data
plate, and the shipping documents.
Open the control panel, if supplied, and verify if it has damages
or if there are interrupted electrical connections.
Make sure that the person who will instal the plant read and
understand fully this operation manual and that all relevant
documents and drawings are available.
If any part of this manual is not clear please ask explanations
immediately the customer.
In the place of installation of the burner there should be the
general gas supply line and the electrical panel, if it is not part
of the burner.
Be sure that the hole of the combustion chamber is suitable to
the requested burner (Pic. 5).
Burners are supplied complete, tested and ready to work.

6.2) Burner hoisting and lifting points

Upon installation the burner must be bound with one or more
"self-tightening lifting slings" suitable to support its weight. The
burner then has to be lifted by adequately sized equipment
(e.g. crane, hoist, etc.).
The lifting operations must be carried out by at least two opera-
tors wearing personal protection equipment, especially boots
and gloves. The burner must be lifted carefully and accompa-
nied by an operator gripping the back of the main body so as
to prevent the load from hazardously rocking.
The burner must be hoisted ONLY by its main body as shown
in Pic. 5a. The same procedures and recommendations are
valid when removing the burner from the installation.
ATTENTION! Care should be taken during installation: for
the lifting do not use the feeding supply, the electrical fan
or the control board because they can be damaged.

6.3) Burner Fixing Flange

The user has to prearrange the flanging for joining the burner to
the combustion chamber.
Make sure that the connection flange scaling will be conforming
to the requested burner model.
The table in Pic. 6 shows the flanging dimensions and the mini-
mum opening on the combustion chamber necessary for the
housing of the burner blast tube.
The burner fixing has to be carried out as indicated in Pic. 6
with the kit material supplied.
6.4) Installation
The burners of the BP R ... MB line are studied for installation
in duct where there is suction air or atmospheric pressure.
The combustion chamber application could be done with a
perfect sealing (Pic. 7).
In case the burner works in depression and if you need to suck
a percentage of ambient air it is possible maintain a free space
