18. Pass/Fail
The pass/fail function monitors deviations of signals and outputs pass/fail signals as a result of
comparison with the input signal, which is in a predefined mask.
Click
to display the main menu and select "Pass/Fail".
18.1 Pass/Fail check
The pass/fail check detects whether the input signal is within the limits of the rule. If it exceeds the rule
limits, it does not pass the check and is classified as a "fail"; if it is within the rule limits, it is allowed as
a "pass". It can also output fail or pass signals via an integrated and configurable output port.
To perform a pass/fail check:
1. Select the input channel: CH 1, CH 2 or Math.
2. Set the horizontal and vertical tolerance. You can use the button
directly.
3. Click on the "Create" button.
4. Set the output type: Select "Pass" or "Fail". Check the options "Ring", "Show Message"
and "Stop Once" if needed.
Ring: A tone sounds when the created rule has been fulfilled.
Stop Once: Stops as soon as the created rule is fulfilled.
Message count: Notification of the count is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
5. Switch on: Click on "Activate".
6. Start test: Click "Go".
7. Stop test: Click "Stop".
