If any of these medias are found in the pool or backwash site glass; make sure that certain media
have been installed in the filter properly with a pea gravel bed fully covering the laterals.

In 2004, the pool indus-

dia. Though glass is the most

the lowest micron rating and lon-
gest life expectancy of all media
types, making it the most cost
effective type of media. Glass is
avaiable in multi-color or white,
and may or may not come pre-
sterilized.
