ECOsmarte Copper Electrodes are not pro-
tected under the five-year warranty. The life of
copper electrodes depends on multiple factors.
Worldwide the life of copper electrodes aver-
ages three years. You can extend the life of the
electrodes by following the directions in the
Owner's Manual. Remember to shut off the
Electronic Box when water is not circulating
through the Electrode Chamber. The Copper
Electrodes will continue to be ionized as long
as the electrodes are in solid contact with the
bolts. If the electrodes corrode free of the bolts
then it is time to replace them.
Do not replace your titanium bolts with
stainless or brass substitutes.
You will receive new bolts when you purchase
electrodes from your dealer.
