en - Opening and closing the door

Door lock

Depending on the model, the dishwashers
are equipped with a comfort door lock with
electronic door locking or a pull-open lock.
Dishwashers with a comfort door lock have
a  door button on the control panel. This
button is not available on machines with a

pull-open lock.

Comfort door lock

Open the door
A door that has been locked electronically
can be opened under the following circum-
stances:
- The machine is connected to the power
supply and switched on (the  LED is lit
up)
- The  LED is lit.
Press the  button to open the door.
If the temperature in the wash cabinet ex-
ceeds 67 °C, a message is shown on the
Hot wash cabinet: Risk of injury, take
display:
care when opening the door.
Press the  button again to open the door.
The comfort door lock opens the door
slightly. The LED in the button goes out as
soon as the door is unlocked.
The dishwasher's control panel is also a
door handle.
Grasp the handle underneath the control
panel and pull the door down to open it.
Closing the door
Make sure that no objects or load items
protrude into the closing area of the door.
 Risk of injury caused by crushing.
Do not put your hand inside the door as it
is closing. Risk of crushing.

The door will be drawn into its final close
position if the AutoClose function is activ-
ated (see "AutoClose").
Pull-open lock
In the case of dishwashers with a pull-open
lock, the door can be opened at any time,
even during a programme sequence. In the
latter case, special caution is needed.
Open the door
The dishwasher control panel also serves as
a door handle.

Closing the door
Raise the door upwards until the catch en-
gages.
 Danger of scalding, burning and
chemical burns!
If the door is opened during a programme
sequence, hot water and process chem-
icals can escape. The programme in pro-
gress is also interrupted and, under cer-
tain circumstances, even cancelled.
Only open the door when no programmes
are running.
Grasp the handle underneath the control
panel and pull the door down to open it.

 Risk of injury caused by crushing.
Do not put your hand inside the door as it
is closing. Risk of crushing.
Raise the door upwards until the catch en-
gages.
