■ Storing Default Settings

When FL400 has been formatted using the Windows FORMAT Command (FAT or FAT16), the default settings must be
restored using MPIO Utility's Setup Config function.
Turn the power of FL400 ON and connect it to a computer using a USB connector.
Double-click MPIO Utility icon in your desktop.
Click the [Setup Config] button.

Safely Remove Hardware message
appears as shown.

After clicking the [OK] button, Setup Config
(Default Setting Restoration) is complete. You
can unplug the device from the PC.

■ Upgrading Firmware

The files in FL400 will be lost after upgrading firmware.
See page 17 [Installing the software] for information on how to install MPIO Utility.
Download the firmware from MPIO web site and save it on the PC. (www.mpio.com)
Turn the power of FL400 ON and connect it to a computer using a USB connector.
Double-click MPIO Utility icon in your desktop.
Click the [F/W Upgrade] button.
Click
Select the downloaded Upgrade.FL400.dwu file in the [Browse] window and then, click the [Open]
button.

Click the [OK] button.

● The firmware upgrade file downloaded from the MPIO
web site is a compressed file, and you can upgrade the
device through the MPIO Utility. Please use the utility
when upgrading the firmware.
