    5.1 Functional principle 5.1.1 Usage The electronic unit is designed for use with a KRAL flow meter. Flow meters generate a specific number of pulses per flow volume unit – depending on the size and working point. This device-specific characteristic is called the K factor (unit: pulses/litre) and is spe- cified on the calibration certificate.

Check the condition of the housing and cables at regular intervals. Periodically check the input/output wiring for reliability and signs of wear. Periodically check process accuracy.
