BURNER CONDENSATE DRAIN KIT INSTALLATION FOR GAS-
FIRED INDOOR HEATER
• When a cooling coil is installed on a model CAUA heater, a burner condensate drain line must be installed. The
burner condensate drain kit (PN 165951) includes all of the parts needed to install the drain line.
• Refer to the installation manual provided with the heater for important safety information.

Install the burner condensate drain as follows. Item numbers in parentheses refer to
1. If unit is installed, turn OFF gas and electric power and allow unit to cool.
2. Remove burner compartment door.
NOTE: Depending on the date of manufacture, the burner box cover is in either two sections—top
left and top right extending over the front—or in three sections—top left, top right, and a separate
front cover.
