Disk Drive LEDs
Disk Drive LEDs are located on the front of the disk drives. Disk drives have two LED indicators.

PCM LEDs
The 764 W PCMs are used in controller node enclosures and include six LEDs. The 580 W PCMs
are used in drive enclosures and include four LEDs. The LEDs are located are located in the corner
of the module.

Indicates
On – Normal operation
Flashing – Activity
On – Disk failed and is ready to be
replaced.
Flashing – The locatecage command
is issued (which blinks all drive fault LEDs
for up to 15 minutes (The I/O module
Fault LEDs at the rear of the enclosure also
blinks). Fault LEDs for failed disk drives
do not blink.
